Community guidelines
Last updated 16 October 2026 · Onzo is run by SURPPASS PTE. LTD.
Onzo is for doing things together with people nearby. These guidelines keep it safe and friendly. They're part of our terms of use.
Be a good person to meet
- Show up when you say you're going, or leave the activity early enough for someone else to take your spot.
- Be honest about what an activity is: the time, place, level and any cost.
- Respect people's "no", their privacy and their boundaries, online and in person.
Not allowed
- Harassment: threats, bullying, unwanted advances or contact after someone said no.
- Hate: racism, or attacks on anyone's race, religion, nationality, gender or sexuality.
- Sexual content: porn, nudity, or anything sexual involving minors.
- Scams and spam: asking for money, selling, ads, pyramid schemes, fake or misleading activities.
- Danger: violence, illegal activities, or activities that put people at serious risk.
- Pretending: fake names, posing as someone else, or sharing others' private information or photos.
- Campaigning and preaching: political campaigning or trying to convert people.
- Collecting contacts: using activities to gather people's phone numbers or details for other purposes.
Meeting safely
- Meet in public places, especially the first time. Tell a friend where you're going.
- Keep chats in Onzo until you trust someone; never send money to people you've just met.
- Trust your instincts: you can leave any activity at any time.
- In an emergency, call the police (999 in Singapore and Malaysia) first, then tell us.
If something's wrong
Report it from the activity, the group chat or the person (… → Report), and block anyone you don't want to hear from. We review every report, usually within 24 hours. Depending on what happened we may remove content or activities, warn, suspend or close accounts; accounts whose content is removed repeatedly are suspended automatically. If you think we got it wrong, email onzo@surppass.com or use Me → Send feedback in the app.
