Manage your activity

Everything for a date you host is on its Manage screen: open the activity (from Plans or a notification) and tap Manage.

Approve requests

If you approve who joins, new requests show under Requests. Try to answer within 12 hours; requests nobody answers close when the date ends.

  1. Tap a request to see the person’s first name, interests and hello.
  2. Tap Approve or Decline. To answer several at once, long-press to select them.

Declined someone by mistake? Under Declined, tap Approve after all while there are spots left. The people you approve are told they’re in; the ones you decline are told it’s full for now.

Check people in

Check-in opens 60 minutes before the start. On People, tap the circle next to each person as they arrive. Search by name in a big group.

Faster at the door: tap the scan button at the top and point the camera at each person’s QR code (they open it from Me → My QR code). Each scan checks that person in and the camera keeps going for the next one.

Mark who came

After the date, open People → Came and mark who was there, or tap The rest weren’t there. You can change it until 72 hours after the end. It feeds everyone’s private show-up record.

Send an update

Tap Send an update to tell everyone going, for example “Court 3 tonight” or “Bring water”. It’s pinned in the group chat and sent as a notification. With co-hosts you can also choose Hosts only.

Change the details

For a repeating activity, choose whether a change applies to this date only or to every later date. Once a date is over, its time, place and details can’t change any more.

Remove or block someone

Tap a person on People for options:

Cancel

Tap Cancel activity (or Cancel this date), give a reason and confirm. Everyone going is notified, and the details stay visible. For a repeating activity, choose This date, This and all later dates (which ends the series) or pick dates.

Once a date has started you can still cancel it for 60 minutes, as long as nobody has checked in. After that it can’t be cancelled: it ends by itself at its end time.
