Online activities

Some activities work just as well on a video call: a language exchange, a book club or a board game night online.

Host one online

  1. Create the activity as usual and, under Where, choose Online.
  2. Choose the app: Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Tencent Meeting or another link.
  3. Paste the meeting link. For Tencent Meeting you can enter the meeting ID and an optional passcode instead.
  4. Publish.

Don’t have the link yet? Leave it empty and add it later from the activity (Add meeting link). Everyone going gets a notification when it’s added. Some activities, like hiking, can’t be online.

Join one

Online activities show Online instead of a place, and aren’t on the map. After you join, the activity shows Join the call (or Join on Zoom, for example). For a meeting ID, tap Copy ID.
